On June 5, at the Museum of American Diplomacy, housed in the U.S. State Department, ABAA and its partner, the Thursday Luncheon Group (TLG), hosted the annual summer reception for Fellows of the Department’s prestigious fellowships for recruitment and diversity – Thomas F. Pickering, Charles B. Rangel programs.  TLG VP Ms. Krystle Norman represented ABAA’s co-sponsor.   Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security, Gentry O. Smith was present to represent one of State’s newest fellowships:  the William B. Clarke, Sr. Diplomatic Security Fellowship, which started in 2024.  Pickering and Rangel, Fellows Association (PRFA) president, Hermes Grullon, also attended.  For the last several years, ABAA has been pleased to coordinate this event with State’s Bureau of Global Talent Management to bring fellows together.
